The Family Life Centers (FLC) Public Website Privacy Policy has been developed as an extension of our commitment to combine the highest quality services with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our consumers/clients/funders/staff. The Policy guides how we collect, store and use information, and it will be periodically assessed against new technologies, business practices and our users' changing needs.

The FLC may, from time to time, modify this Public Website Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technological and other developments. In that event the changes will appear at this location. Our Policy recognizes that Personally-Identifiable Information (I.e. name, address, e-mail addresses , etc) deserves protection and security.

FLC is committed to using all reasonable efforts to abide by the following Policy statement:

Collection. Personally-Identifiable Information will only be collected to the extent that The FLC deems reasonably necessary to serve a legitimate business purpose. FLC currently has an information request form, and may also be contacted via email.

Cookies, Spyware Etc. FLC does not download to your computer or use any data collection cookies or spy ware.

Notification. Website users will be notified (usually at the point where Personally-Identifiable Information is collected) as to the uses that FLC may make of the Personally-Identifiable Information collected from them.

Internal & External Agency Distribution of Personally-Identifiable Information. Information that is forwarded to FLC in result of using the FLC Public Website will be maintained in that department's data bases and not shared with other departments. For example, someone forwards a resume to FLC for a possible job opportunity. This information will not be forwarded to the Marketing Department for Fund Raising Activities.

FLC will not share Information that is forwarded to FLC in result of using the FLC Public Website with any outside entity.

Security. Appropriate safeguards will be implemented to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of Personally-Identifiable Information from Website Users.

Children: Collection and use of information from children under the age of thirteen will be made in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Act of 1998.
