Thanksgiving Dinner Box Contest at Our Berea Center!

Our Berea center is having a contest among our classrooms to benefit the Berea Children’s Home and Family Services Annual Thanksgiving Food Box Drive. The agency provides Thanksgiving food boxes to the many families receiving services from our organization who could not otherwise afford a thanksgiving meal. The classroom that has the most number of complete dinner boxes will win an Ice Cream Sundae Party! (infant rooms would receive a new item for their room).

Donate any of the following items to make up a Thanksgiving Box:

• Turkey
  
• Sweet potatoes/Yams, canned
  
• Stuffing Mix
  
• Macaroni and Cheese
  
• Canned Vegetables
  
• Roll Mix
  
• Cranberry Sauce
  
• Canned Fruit
  
• Potatoes
  
• Cake/Brownie Mixes
  
• Gravy

Donated food items can be left in the marked box outside your child’s classroom.

You can purchase a turkey feather for a $1.00 to put toward your child’s classroom’s dinner box (A complete box costs $35.00). Decorated feathers can be purchased in the office and will be displayed in the hall on Tom the Turkey.
